Kids quiet corner

I love that in our house there is a little light under the stairs. We decided to make it a little place for the kids. Since they will have a play room upstairs after we get our household goods, I don't want any of their toys downstairs. Yes, I know that's next to impossible, but I will still try. Anyway, we have a mattress topper we aren't using, and we went to the library and checked out a bunch of books, so this is the beginning of their space. 

Once I have my sewing machines I will be making curtains to cover the openings. One side will be a door. I will also be making them a big, comfy pillow to put in there instead of the mattress pad. I'll probably spend more time in there than the kids haha. But, since Harper is (as of two minutes ago) grounded from phones, iPads AND the TV she should be spending a lot more time here. I know, I may be a mean mom but she seems to lose all bladder control when any electronics are involved. Otherwise, she does alright.
