Well, we have learned since then that no matter where you go, plan for Korean traffic. It took us about 5 hrs to get down there. We all got there at different times so it took quite a bit of time to get all four families together.
Anyway, it was a bit chaotic but I'm glad we went. So, the whole festival, from what I understand, is to commemorate the Korean Japanese war. The Koreans lost that war. So it's held within a fortress on the river. They have statues that light up depicting scenes from the war. Some of them are a bit risqué but educational I guess. They have floating lanterns that you can write a wish on and send down the river as well as big ones on the river that light up. There are also a couple of floating bridges.
The best part of the show, though, was the firework show. The whole show was like our finale's in the states. It killed anything done at stadium of fire. Max was freaked out from the beginning of it but Harper loved it. It was a long day with tons of walking and waiting, but it was worth it.
Yup, that's a human centipede
They are beating this guy
The kids in the cage
Must have been a pretty bad battle
