Halloween

So, this Halloween was a lot of fun. It was so fun to watch both kids really enjoy the holiday. I also had a lot of fun making their costumes this year. Harper was a dark witch and Max was an Oompa Loompa. Matt and I decided that being an oompa loompa was a right of passage for our kids. This time I made the costume well and will keep it for the next kids.  These pics are from October 30th. That night the post put on Spooky Hallow. I had volunteered to work a booth for the United Club (spouse's club) so we went a little early. Unfortunately, we missed the costume contest for the kids age group by like 10 minutes. It was freezing though, so the kids didn't last too long there.

On Halloween we went to the Ville for their activities. The kids basically just got a little bit of candy. It wasn't as good as it has been in the past we were told. After the Ville, My friend Jen, who does photography, took pictures of the kids. 

After the pictures, we went to new family housing towers to go trick or treating with Eisley. We picked up a couple of more kids on our second tower. The kids got WAY too much candy. We will be eating it for months. By that, I mean I will be throwing it away soon. But it was a lot of fun. Everyone LOVED Max's costume. They were both pretty dang cute, but I'm a little biased.
