Right after dropping her off, we took Matt to work and then went home for about 45 mins. Then I had orientation at the child development center to enroll Max in hourly care. That will be a last resort if I can't find someone to watch him if I need it. He really wanted to stay and play anyway lol. I almost wanted to take Harper out if her preschool and send her there because it seems so much more interactive. But, she's in a wait list.
After that, I headed straight to pick Matt up for lunch so he could take Max while I went to the first event for the United club (spouses club). It was a lot of fun. Lunch and bingo. It was nice to see some friends I hadn't seen in a couple of weeks.
During that time, Matt picked Harper up and took her to her first day of gymnastics. Then, he had to come back and pick me up so that I could take him back to work and then pick Harper up and take her back to school. Luckily, we had a great friend there who em stayed with Harper until I got there. The coach had some leotards for sale, so we got one for Harper and she wants to live in it now. All she does is "gymnastics" around the house now.
Max also really wants to go to gymnastics now so we may put him in it.
So, after that craziness, I got Max down for a nap after a bit of a fuss, was able to do a little cleaning, and then had to wake him up to go pick Harper up at 3. I had literally just gotten the kids out of the car and in the house when Matt called to tell me the power had gone out so he was finished for the day. So, back into the car and on our way to post we went. Needless to say, by the time we were finished, I was exhausted!!
